I make halt and start to ponder,
if my life is any wonder.
A simpleton as true as me,
could not find my life so free.
I am a slavehorse of purest breed,
chained by ankle to never be freed.
I drink, I swear,
I gamble, I fear
to never be freed from my chains.
When the sun rises and skies open up wide,
I now know myself i have ou so much lied.
A Life full of freedom is just not for me,
I like to be slaved and work, just for thee.
But one day I'll find a maiden so fair,
She'll free my from chains in her ou so great lair.
To show to me the niceness of the world,
the love and the peace that will (surely) make my head twirl.
